In the same week that a Palestinian terrorist stabbed an Israeli mother of six to death in her home in front of one of her children, and a 15 year old Palestinian stabbed a pregnant Israeli woman, the UN Secretary General expressed his "deep concerns" - about the designation of Israeli state land, not about Palestinian terror attacks.
In the words of a January 20, 2016 statement:
"The Secretary-General is deeply concerned about reports of the Israeli Government authorising the declaration of 370 acres in the West Bank, south of Jericho, as so-called "state land"... The Secretary-General reiterates his call for substantial policy changes on the ground by Israel that will improve the lives of Palestinians."
The Secretary General had no comment about improving the lives of Israelis, or saving their lives from Palestinian terror.
