Iran, the world's leading state sponsor of terrorism, has used the UN's top "human rights" platform to slander Israel for protecting itself from Iranian-backed terrorism.
Speaking on behalf of the 119 member states of the Non-Aligned Movement at the opening of the latest session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on September 14, 2015, Iran's representative stated: "Israel must be compelled to cease its military attacks, collective punishment, blockade, state terror and all other grave breaches of human rights."
Iran failed to mention its active participation and support of the crimes against humanity perpetrated by the Assad regime and for terrorist groups such as Hamas and Hezbollah.
