Rockets in UNRWA schools in Gaza
Report (summary) of Secretary General's Inquiry on the three incidents and UNRWA's role
UN Secretary General's Board of Inquiry makes recommendations to Israel, none to Hamas
The Board of Inquiry concluded its report by making a series of recommendations. They related to "Safety and Security," "Communication and Coordination," and "General Issues."
Of all the recommendations, four began "The United Nations should request the Government of Israel to..." In fact, the only non-UN entity which was the subject of Board recommendations was Israel. The Board failed to make a single recommendation directed to Hamas or Palestinian authorities.
Astonishingly, despite concluding that on multiple occasions, "Palestinian armed group(s)" stored or fired weapons from UNRWA schools, the Board made no recommendations that Hamas or other Palestinian entities stop using UNRWA schools to commit war crimes.
Advocacy on the side of Hamas
Great interviewee @ Shifa Hosp Gaza right now Prof Mads Gilbert +4790878740 call him 4 fatality & cas figs and atoms RTEditor's Note: In this tweet, the UNRWA spokesman was encouraging reporters to interview someone with a history of supporting terror attacks against civilians. After 9/11 when Gilbert was asked specifically "do you support a terrorist attack on the United States?" he responded: "Terror is a poor weapon, but the answer is yes...The white world does not understand that it is possible to see such an act in a different perspective."
