While the UN devotes its human rights operations to the demonization of the democratic state of Israel above all others and condemns the United States more often than the vast majority of non-democracies around the world, the voices of real victims around the world must be heard.
The Border Police arrested a 17-year-old female Palestinian who drew a knife and ran at an officer nearby the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron on Saturday afternoon, the Israel Police announced later that evening.
The Palestinian, who was not injured, was transferred to security forces for investigating.
According to a statement from the Israel Police, the would-be attacker walked up to a checkpoint outside the holy site at about 4:35 pm. He ran after her and managed to outflank her, positioning himself between the terrorist and the children. He and other members of the Border police aimed and cocked their weapons at the girl, who then stopped and threw her weapon to the floor.
