In 2001, the first UN Conference Against Racism, held in Durban, South Africa and ending only 3 days before 9/11 was a global platform for antisemitism and the demonization of Israel.
Plans for Durban II, to be held in the first-half of 2009, are well underway. The planning committee has a Libyan Chair, an Iranian Vice-Chair, and a Cuban Rapporteur. Already, their statements captured on video make their plans clear:

use the pretense of combating racism to limit freedom of expression; |

thwart efforts to end terrorism; |
|
allege that Islamophobia is the most serious form of racism today in order to cast Muslims as victims and never perpetrators; |
|
redefine antisemitism as victimizing Arabs and Muslims so there are no Jewish victims; and |
|
demonize the state of Israel. |

In its very short history, the Human Rights Council has become a UN nightmare. An institution worse than the Commission it replaced. A forum for defeating, instead of promoting, human rights. The videos capture the absurdity of this "human rights" institution where:

the victims of the Nazis are cast as the Nazis of today; |

the right to self-defense applies to every state except Israel; |

a platform is provided for those who believe marital rape is "controversial" |
|
freedom of expression is under seige |

grossly exaggerated claims of Islamophobia are intended to divert attention from all violations of human rights by Muslim states. |
