John Kerry and Ahmet Davutoglu in Ankara, March 1, 2013

In the presence of Secretary of State John Kerry, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu claims "we are fighting against antisemitism" - despite the fact that his Prime Minister's words this week were clear evidence they are doing precisely the opposite. Turkey continues to show no remorse over facilitating the attempt to open an Iranian arms depot on the Mediterranean via the "flotilla." Secretary Kerry responded to the overt Turkish antisemitism with 435 words, one of which was (finally) "objectionable."

Scene from "No Fire Zone"

In 2009 more than 100,000 people were killed in Sri Lanka by the government forces during the conflict with the Tamils. In May 2009 the UN "Human Rights" Council adopted a one-sided resolution praising Sri Lanka government for respecting human rights during the conflict.
Today, 4 years after the massacres took place and on the sidelines of the HRC 22nd session in Geneva, several NGOs organized the screening of "No Fire Zone: The Killing Fields of Sri Lanka", a BBC Channel 4 movie. On February 27, 2013, the HR Council's President sent a letter to the Permanent Mission of Sri Lanka in Geneva disassociating the Council from the screening. Further, no audio or visual taping was allowed during today's side-event, nor was there any time for questions and comments after the screening. However, Sri Lanka's Geneva Ambassador was given the floor to whitewash evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity. He "strongly protested" the screening and attacked the "authenticity" of the movie. How the real bosses of the UN "human rights" scene operate.

The priorities of the UN's top human rights officer: genocide and demonizing Israel. "Hundreds of thousands of people have died in genocides in Rwanda and Bosnia and Herzegovina; the Palestinian territories are still occupied; massive violations have occurred in Iraq and Sri Lanka; and war crimes continue to be committed in numerous internal conflicts including those continuing in Afghanistan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mali, Sudan and Syria."
