UN Human Rights Council working group on "right to peace" continued to negotiate new declaration. Iran preached the benefits of "nuclear disarmament;" declared protection from genocide, crimes against humanity and respect for free speech and religion, "not acceptable;" claimed domestic, gender-based violence and discrimination against women, "irrelevant", and requested its deletion from draft text. American negotiators also spoke today to urge no "new rules," having voted against holding meeting - which is moving forward anyway.
