Title
Letter from the Palestinian observer to the Secretary-General and the President of the Security Council on Israel "increasing its military aggression and its human rights violations against the Palestinian people" with a list of "martyrs"

According to the Palestinian UN delegation Moneer Sokkar and Ashraf Ahallof are "martyrs". They were combatants, direct participants in firing rockets and attempted suicide-bombing. Sadly, Palestinian civilians also died. By using the trappings of civilian life and civilians as human shields, these terrorists violated the Geneva Conventions (Article 51(7)) and are directly responsible for their deaths. Civilian deaths are unfortunate, not shameful political currency for a Palestinian government dedicated to violence.
